During 2000 uncount LA Times was the most balanced paper IMO |

I was searching all over the net and they had the most independent voice. I told New Yorkers that it was become better than the NYTimes.
The Chicago Tribune (who owns them) has taken heat because they helped get the Death Penalty moratorium in this state with amazing reporting.

There was a moment when I thought I was going to drop the NYT subscription and start an LATimes subscription. Then I read The Hunting of the President. It turned my stomach, and I think it'll be a while before I feel that I could buy that paper.

Make up for the 1,000 freepers that canceled because LAT dared to print some well substantiated stories about his "wimmin problems".
When they do good, help them out.
