Think about it, really. He IS an abusing liar who has no sympathy for anyone (except rich drunk, gambling, sexually harrassing Republicans, whom he easily forgives). If you have sympathy for him you are an enabler; he will come back to abuse the left again if he is allowed to get away with this felony

3. I disagree

It would be like that if we expressed sympathy for Rush and the lies he tells about liberals and his shameless distorting of current events. For that, Rush deserves every censure he has received on these boards and beyond.

However, there behind the propagandist a human being. Given Mr. Limbaugh's railing against drug addicts, this is more ironic than ususal; however, it is no less tragic.

I hope Rush kicks his habit. I hope he comes out of this experience wiser.

same. But Limbaugh has destroyed much of the fabric of debate in the country. His dittoheads, my own brother is one, need to be shown how bad he is, they need a good proveribal slap up side the head. I have tried to talk to my brother, we now have a unspoken gentlemens' agreement not to discuss politics. The only way he and others will wake up if he is kicked out externally by the actions of this crowd, like this drug abuse.I hope he goes completely down the tubes along with the rest of his right wing media stars. Think of how much will be saved. How many lives will be saved, if right wing media is destroyed.

4. I hope for the day

when Rush must make ammends (part of the 12 steps) to everyone and anyone he has wronged through his disease. I don't think he can accomplish this in his life time. To go through recovery he will have to appologize for the rest of his life. I don't think he will make it through recovery, but I hope he does, because I'm especially looking forward to hearing him appologize to Chelsea Clinton for his hateful remark about the WH dog.
