Many people's votes didn't count...kind of shocking don't you think?

1. The ballot presented a 2-part question
Looks like most of those voters were dumb Republicans, who only voted for Ah-nold, but forgot to mark the part of the ballot that backed the recall.

Actually, in the future, when all elections are recorded on computer touch-screens designed and built by Republican manufacturers, Republican voters will be protected from such embarassing and unfortunate gaffe's... There will be no paper trail to show otherwise, and all elections results will be the complete responsibility (before the event is actually required to occur) of the Republican Party's Marketing Department.

I'm not kidding. Greg Palast (the guy who dug up the Fla. disenfranchisment scandal, mainly for news outlets in Britain) has done some writing on that subject, and it's scarier than any Republican strategy affecting small percentages of voters.

2. Dems run the state
The worst part of the recall was having the recall and the election in the same ballot. The recall should be a seperate question and then there should be a campaign to find the replacement.

3. is this a news report? Or a Diebold press release?
