Every 2 to 4 years it's the same Goddamn thing...
The Democrats get sucker-punched and blindsided and I have to hear the same thing over and over again from the DLC pundits and spinners: "What can we learn from this"? and "We didn't lose that badly, we still won some seats"; or the infamous, "We still going to keep trying to get our message out there". What message? That we still keep doing the same stupid shit over and over again? Arnold Schwartznegger said that he wouldn't run if Diane Feinstein ran, so what did she do? Didn't run. We have some great leaders here in CA. Why were they AWOL? Trust me, if the shoe was on the other foot, and the Governor was an unpopular Republican, they would have found a decent replacement. They ordered Darrel Issa out because they knew there was plenty in his background. I have a friend whose family used to do business with him, and eventually they stopped accepting checks from Issa because he's such a fucking deadbeat. This whole thing didn't have to happen. When Max Cleland was being attacked by Saxby Chambliss, why in hell didn't half the Senate Democrats go down to Georgia and take Chambliss to task for impugning the reputation of a national treasure like Max? Why is the leadership so timid? Whew! I'm coming up for air. I need a drink.

1. You Don't need A Drink
You need a shot of Dr. Dean. He is not timid.

2. I've asked myself the same thing so many times I sound like a
madwoman. What is the matter with these people?? Do they think we pay and elect them to sit on their asses and mumble about how they'll get some balls maybe by next year, or maybe the year after that?? I just don't get it, and I never will.

4. Amen, brother! The DNC keeps calling me and writing me for
donations. I take the time to answer the calls with specific information (I'm not contributing any money to the DNC until it does several things - first stop bashing Dean and get the DLC to stop bashing Dean, then get agressive - really agressive!). I write the same kind of thing on each of their fund-raising appeals and mail it back to them.

They need to know why I'm no longer contributing to the "status quo". I'm only contributing to selected candidates and selected party organizations, the agressive and outraged ones!

No more namby-pamby for this Democrat!

6. I think Dr. Dean and The General are Our Only Hope
We need leaders with a lynch mob mentality, who will show no mercy and give no quarter. Torch the whole village.
