So what do you think Rove's attorney said to or gave Fitz that kept Rove |
|
from being indicted today?
My mind is running wild with thoughts, but I just don't know.
I'm curious what everyone else thinks.

1. Nothing. Rove's next, with more serious charges. |

2. Just 'cuz he wasn't indicted today ... |
|
... doesn't mean he won't be in the next few weeks/months.
Sit tight.

4. Good question, peacebaby3! |
|
It would have been doubly devastating for BushCo to have both Libby & Rove indicted on the same day.
I'm sure that Rove's attorney figured out a way to stall his client's indictment... probably by dangling some tidbit of evidence (like notes) or something else.

6. I've thought of that as well. According to the report about the meeting |
|
Rove's attorney (Luskin)said something/gave something to Fitz that changed his mind about indicting Rove today. Supposedly Fitz was leaning toward an indictment and then backed away from it after this meeting. This made me wonder if he was giving new info in the case.
I also heard the term "reminded" Fitz of something and then my mind started racing about threats and/or manipulation, but I'm not sure they could be that brave.

5. Maybe nothing. Fitz couldn't prove his case on Rove. |
|
Is that indefinite? NO! Will he be charged in the future? Who knows!

7. I've thought of that as well. The key term here has been stated different |
|
ways so I'm not sure what to make of it.
Did he "say/give" something to Fitz or did he "remind" him of something? That could be a big difference.
I guess time will tell.

8. Probably gave Fitz the info on Wilson making a speech & in his bio |
|
making reference to his wife's name (though not her job). Someone mentioned that recently.
Don't know if it is true - but if Wilson did that - the original charge of "her cover been blown" might be on shaky ground.. ergo... the conspiracy charge had to be dropped.
Just a guess!!!
