Boy are they clever, - the new mantra is being repeated by every shill speaking for the Bush/PNAC war machine. This morning, in response to the car bomb in front of the Baghdad Hotel, Bremer used the phrase as well.

He inserted the word 'terrorist,' of course...that's SOP. But he also insisted that these terrorists are unhappy about the "remarkable progress" being made. Sigh. Yawn. Scream.

Would the US be considered "safe" if there were refinery fires, car bombings and guerrilla attacks in its major cities every day, yet "95% of the rest of the country (rural areas) is peaceful and free of terrorism?"
