was quite interesting.
Eventually the people who vote Republican based on greed will clash mightily with the people who vote Republican because they are conservative Christian (or Muslim).
It's bound to happen sooner or later. Sure just over 50% of people believe abortion should be illegal, but just wait until certain birth control pills are considered "abortificants" and there's a threat they will be pulled off the market. Or wait until some politician suggests that birth control only be doled out by doctors who will require a copy of a marriage license before he gives a perscription for bc pills or fits a woman for a diaphram.
Or, wait until the 20somethings who consider themselves Republican are forced to consider spending $150K for k-12 education for each child they have because public education has been allowed to crumble.
Or, just wait until the Family & Medical Leave Act is whittled down and middle-class women can't take their 3 months off from work when they have a baby.
