I heard a rumor that this deal has gone through.

What the hell - Americans are going to be even MORE brain-washed!

Is it possible that people who own satellite dishes are now going to be subjected to FOX-like propaganda on 100+ channels?

7. I'm very happy with Dish Network

When we signed up, we could opt for 10 channels of our choice from the Top 40 for $15.80 a month. We opted for CNN, and NEVER HAVE TO WATCH FOX!

3. Ever needed any more reason to dump Direct TV?

Lets see:

1- Suing everyone off of a list who bought a smart card, which they claim is used solely to steal Direct TV, which is false (but considering 2, who would want it) That is like suing a man who bought a peephole sized camera without reviewing what he recorded.

2- Its now going to have Republican biased programing (along w/the usual sleeze)

Oppresive, Republican biased company.

9. Media Monopolies continue andf the Democrats are silent

When the public made a big stink about the recent FCC change, Congress actually stood up for the people's interests for once.

But, typically, they have dropped the ball, and are now letting Murdoch buy yet more of the market, and GE expanding its media empire even further.

This is the kind of crap that has been happening for 25 years that has gotten us into the mess we're in. And still they remain silent....Arrgh.
