People, wake up! Who is to force the congress to do ANYTHING? Who? Really, ask yourself...we're all bright people here. In an astonishing display of ignorance not seen in this country since the Salem witch trials, America voted in the republican party to every branch of government. They already owned the SCOTUS, and the media and blah blah blah, and everybody with a brain knew this was coming.

So here we are. Now what? What is the incentive for them to do anything but sit on the stories and wait for the next distraction (or manufacture it for us)? There simply is none.

And when the democrats get angry, they just say "they're whining" and we furl our tail between our legs while twelve of them blanket the talk show circuit with the same bullsh*t obfuscations and distortions, and Saddam was evil, and the world is glad we took him out.

Oh...and, gosh, look! Just as the GOP caca is splattering all over the fan, suddenly W has high poll numbers, Saddam is about to be captured (again, or...something) and Rush is hero instead of the drug addict hypocrite hater we all know him to be.

So...WHAT THE EFF ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

DO NOT for a moment think any committee in any branch of government will look into this or cry for justice. Why would they, they don't have to. Diebold will guarantee them unending re-elections and access to the treasury and the judicial system. And there isn't a damn thing any democrat in Congress can do about it because the Wal Mart Nation handed the whole she-bang over to BushCo.

So. What are you going to do? What are WE going to do?

We need to find a way to get rid of the Electronic Voting Machines. OR get a damn paper trail! THAT alone is the MOST important issue. Without a legitimate election....auditable machines... NOTHING else matters. Whatever we do for our candidates is a waste of time when we have no paper trail to prove our votes. That should be our issue. JMCPO
