5. Willis attended a $2000 a plate Davis fundraiser
Maybe he hates his boxoffice nemesis more than he hates Democrats.

Clint Eastwood

Clint Eastwood is the consummate filmmaker. His career spans four decades and has touched generations of moviegoers. He is one of the most prolific, versatile artists in the history of the medium, involving himself first as an actor, then as a director and producer. Eastwood's remarkable achievements have been fueled by his enormous box-office appeal and likewise reflected in the recognition he has received. His respect within the film industry is matched only by his appreciation from the public at large. His ongoing body of work is without peer. Clint Eastwood is a film icon.

Consider the following data, applied as it is to a man whose debut in film was as a contract actor for Universal Pictures in 1955. From this inauspicious beginning, Clint Eastwood's credits have carried him beyond the new millennium. He has starred in 44 films (appearing in 55), directed 23, and produced 18. Eastwood is unique in that he will often combine responsibilities, simultaneously producing, directing and starring. This he has done 12 times, while he has directed and starred in an additional eight films and served as producer, in a variety of directing and acting combinations, no less than 13 times.

8. Clint is an
all around decent guy. Yes, he is an old fashioned Republican, but that doesn't make him non-human. In other words, it doesn't make him a Green-Communist.

10. It may sound funny,
but one can be a good Republican and be against the recall. Davis practiced fiscal responsiblity by cutting 30 billion out of a 38 billion dollar budget deficit. He tried to stand up against crooked price fixing in the energy market. Davis, also I believe, served his country in Viet Nam, not a hotel bar. A long time ago, in a galaxy far away, these used to be Republican values. Eastwood might be a little resentful, too, about californians sacking Davis and then begging from Gropinater and Shrub, like a trained seal.

11. Now now...
Jsut because Rummy tries to channel him in press briefings does not necessarily make Clint a neocon.

BTW: Eastwood is one helluva talent!
