Edwards basically said * wasn't a bad man but he had bad policies...

I disagree.... I think * is evil and misguided... An inflammable mix.... What's the old saying about a weak and evil person... * reminds of the prison guard in The Green Mile who fails to adequately prep the condemned man making his execution more painful...


For the record I don't think all Republicans are evil cept for * and Nixon....

I didn't like Ford's and Reagan policies but I didn't think they were evil....

11. Evil and Misguided

In my mind, "evil" (defined as "morally bad or wicked") is a lack of compassion for other human beings. I think Bush has amply demonstrated these qualities.

I agree that "evil" is overused, as well as wrongly used. However, I strongly believe that Bush is evil, as is the currently dominant wing of the Republican Party. Any philosophy that teaches that selfishness is a virtue is, a fortiori, an evil philosophy.

He is misguided because he overreached. If he had just scaled down his destruction of the federal government, justice, and any semblance of power for the people, he would have easily won reelection in 2004. Because he overreached, we have a good chance of beating him in '04 and reversing many or all of his misdeeds.

if he were evil and properly guided, I would fear him greatly.
