Poll question: What will Bush's job approval be in tonight's Wash. Post/ABC poll?

It was 54 percent a few weeks ago in that poll (which tends to run 5 points higher than others), his lowest ever.

1. 82%!

Margin of error +/- 40 points (they only polled two guys working at a gas station in Alabama).

On edit: (Of course, if that was the case I don't know how they'd come up with 82%). :)

4. Spot on- they won't let him go below 50%...
Even if it means killing 50% and casting their vote for them.

7. There does seem to be a concerted effort not to do polls
when he's struggling. For instance, where were all the polls when Traitorgate broke? Someone on another thread said George Gallup and Don Rumsfeld were college roommates, and Rumsfeld used his friendship with Gallup to influence polling questions and timing to the Repubs' advantage. If that's true, that could explain that 56 percent CNN/Gallup poll.

6. I'd like some of what the lower than 50% crowd has been smoking (nt)
Just because you hate him doesn't mean we live in fatasy land. :D

His numbers have been heading up. His agressive public relations campaign seems to be working.

9. also
the numbers have been hanging around the low-mid fifties. this is still within the margin of error that puts him right at 50. i dont see more substantial gains from the pr effort. but i could be wrong. if bush reaches 58-59-60 then maybe the PR spin has worked.
