The big-time radio host admitted his dependence on painkillers and is rumored to have checked himself into a treatment center north of Tucson. But what about all of the other addicts in Arizona?

What about the thousands of broadcast junkies in Phoenix who don't have the cash to pay for some type of talk-show detox? What about the right-thinking men and women who woke up Monday morning with a craving for their daily Rush and were left to satisfy it with the methadone of a substitute host or, worse, the cold turkey of FM radio.

14. I was listening to Malloy's Friday show today and 1 caller...

...was saying something along the lines that if Rush does not get put in jail due to Florida's mandatory minimums there will be rioting from those in Florida (mostly minorities) who have relatives who are in jail for far less. Anyone thinking that might happen?

I believe they have no choice but to arrest him. If they do let him go, I think there will be some massive shakeups somewhere in that state.

Look for the courts to be flooded with appeals based on Rush's treatment.

I work for Premiere, a division of Clear Channel. In the CC Employee Guide, it discusses many things related to drugs (they're against them, by the way).

However, there are references to drug rehab, and the clinic used as a reference point is in Tuscon, Arizona. They actually ADVOCATE this clinic. When I first got the handbook, my wife and I joked about this place, wondering why they'd go so far out of their way to threaten employees about drug use, but then push a rehab clinic on us.

Something tells me that Rush is NOT "voluntarily" in drug rehab....but was ORDERED to do so by his company.
