Poll question: Will you vote for any Democrat that votes for the $87 Billion giveaway?
It looks like some Democrats like Tom Daschle and Dennis Kuncinich have already railed against this huge handout for Bush's Iraq quagmire, but if Democrats like say Daschle, Gephardt, or Biden vote in favor of this? What will you do if our Senator or Congressperson votes for this?

1. I voted for the second option.
I would put in a write-in candidate if it helps. Luckily, I don't think Jim McDermott will support it so his seat is safe.

2. No. Impeachment first. Re-structure Iraq second.
We owe Iraq for our country's inequities, but we owe ourselves first. It's just throwing good money after bad...priorities doncha know.

3. It's not that simple...
Demanding documented responsibility and/or concessions for the $87B is reasonable. Granting another blank check to Bush isn't.

4. I fear this one will be a blank check.
I am also worried that this will further devaste our Treasury and bring the deficit up even further.

6. How about another option:
I don't believe in these kind of litmus tests.

8. If my choice...
... is between a Democrat and a Bush Buttboy Republican...

I'll pick the Democrat. Here in Arkansas, we don't usually get a third choice.

9. We broke it

We have taken on an obligation and for better or worse we have to do the right thing.
If we leave the chaos will far exceed what is already happening. The death toll of innocent people will be staggering.
Our position in the world will sink further, and this time Democrats will be blamed rather than Bush.
I hate the idea of keeping our troops in Iraq indefinitely but we can't unilaterally pull out. We need the UN to take control of the rebuilding and other countries to contribute to the peacekeeping force. But that will never happen as long as Bush and the neocons are in power.

10. It is just like breaking another window to fix a broken window
It would be a disaster financially. How in pray tell would you propose to gain that $87 billion back? The deficit will widen!
