Bill came out to campaign in California for Davis and the NO on recall vote, and there was hardly any fire over it. It did not mobilize the Dems. Bill supported the war too, and gave support to Blair. It concernes me, why any Dem, from anywhere, would do ANYTHING, to give this president more power. The votes and support in the Congress from some of these Dems, for bills like the recent Syrian Sanctions, and Bush's war money request, are only empowering PNAC and Bush, helping his "re-election" efforts, and giving him the tools to wage more war. Why are they doing this?

Trusting Bush to at least run a god damn war. Looking back I would've never supported a war now because of the Bush administration's policy. Bush's fuck ups have moved me from slightly conservative to moderate-liberal.

The last few times I've seen her on TV I have been struck by how smoothly and charmingly she says absolutely nothing -- that at least that could ever be construed as controversial. She used to appear to stand for something -- now I feel like every thing she does is filtered through the possibility of her one day running for President.

The Clinton's have the right to slam them again and again , after what they did for eight years plus, to the Clintons. These threads that are nothing more then bait for us Dems to start doing what I call eating their own. Bill Clinton was one of the best Presidents this country has ever had, and he has his record to prove it. Even with all of the hatefull things the repugs did to him ,he still kept his miind open to all ideas ,reguardless of who it was coming from .Thats part of what made him so great,a open mind willing to listen to all sides and make an informed decision ! What we have now is a exact opposite of what we had ! Lets leave the Clintons alone ,the are still the shinning stars of the Dem party !

Senator Clinton is absolutely right on with this comment. I especially like the fact that she framed the "battle" as one between the extreme right and moderate Americans. Compared to ideas and opinions floating around in Canada, for instance, most of us are no where near leftist. All the people who will be marching in DC come October 25? 99% of them are moderates. Good for Senator Clinton for telling it like it is with that statement.

I can't help but think that she would like Bush to win in 2004 so she could make a run in 2008. For all that President Clinton did for the USA, they are still a power-hungry couple. I don't believe it would be beyond them to want to trainwreck the Dem nominee this year so she could make a clean run in 2008.
