Reporter Jamie MacEntyre (sp?) says US in Bombed Convoy doing Lord's Work!
Edited on Wed Oct-15-03 08:37 AM by KoKo01
I don't know if he works for CNN or MSNBC as I was surfing, but that's what he said. The Lords Work?

Has the Bush Campaign to Trash the Media caused these people to now insert The Lord in their reports?

Has this Reporter gone Mad or Gone Fundie.

The news is so bad I turned it off yesterday and after I saw this report, I had to turn it off. Time to leave off the cables again. Propaganda Wars are with us "Heavy Duty, " since the Chimp complained. He snaps his fingers and they say "Seig Heil!" And, if I see one more side shot emposed on every report of him walking from the helicopter or to the helicopter on another of his fund raising trips while waving and smiling, I'm going to :puke: All they ever show on any report about him on CNN and MSNBC is a side view of him, to distract from what they are saying. Subliminal Message? They don't even make it subliminal, it's In Your Face! I've never seen such bowing an kissing to any President.

This is just so depressing. Everytime we think things will get better, they get worse.

1. If he really said that
If he really said that, he needs to be fired, post haste, for inappropriate and incompetent reporting.

Of course, I have no illusions that CNNMSNBC or whoever would ever take that step.

4. Info on Jamie McIntyre
Jamie McIntyre
Jamie McIntyre is CNN's senior Pentagon correspondent. He is the network's longest serving military affairs correspondent, having taken over the beat in November 1992 shortly after the election of former President Bill Clinton. One of the most senior reporters assigned to the Pentagon, McIntyre has earned a reputation for fairness and accuracy while covering U.S. military missions in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Haiti, Iraq, Kosovo, Rwanda and Somalia.

17. Just a quick 'FYI' on Bill Hemmer,
Even though it sounds like Hemmer wasn't the reporter. He's a pretty kid who, as far as I know, went straight from junior beat reporting on one of the Cincinnati, Ohio local news teams straight to CNN. When I used to live down there and watch the news, he was doing a lot of 'feelgood' local color stories on the news station in Cinci, I have no idea how he ended up where he is. Not that he wasn't good at reading his scripts on the air -- and he's attractive. But I don't remember him doing anything serious or investigative.

Something? I heard the clip and then the announcer said alright Jamie McIntyre (thanks for correct sp.) correspondent. So, I assumed that was who reported. I don't know if this description helps.

older. I'll see if I can find a pix of Hemmer.

8. ahh, found out another thing about that convoy this a.m.
One of the cable networks said that it is now thought that these "victims" were CIA------------Let's see, God had people like Peter, Paul, Matthew, James, etc. working for him but they do pale in comparison to George Tenant and the gang, don't they???? Maybe CIA means Christian Invading Army..........

12. Stay calm/focused-the Fundies are overreaching
BTW-David Bloom was doing the Lord's work as well.

I've grown up w/ Fundies
They're in my family-Both sides
And they're close to Bush
Hierarchy as well.
Ignorance is they're weakness.
Hypocrisy (a Byproduct?) as well.

Historically we've been here before.
Fundies seem to selfdestruct.
And our soldiers are coming home and
telling WRHing.

“Let me tell you about the cluster bomb raid
we saw wipe out a whole bunch of little kids.
It looked like they had already lost their parents
and were trying to salvage food from a destroyed
Iraqi convoy by the side of the road we were on.
The kids were way off to the side about half a
mile away by then when we got the word that
the Iraqi column was going to be hit with cluster
bombs and we had to clear the area. We got on
the radio and tried to get the air strike stopped but
we were told it was too late to get it stopped.”

“We could see the body parts flying up into the air
after the bombs hit.

14. ABC report says
"those killed were members of a U.S. monitoring team sent to the region to supervise implementation of a U.S.-backed peace plan."

and a post in the LBN thread said that, according to c-span, the security firm is that of Marvin Bush.

Which lord's work were they doing?

I didn't know we had any "monitoring teams" in Israel, Gaza or the West Bank.
