No sooner than the story appeared, I heard on the news that one of the US commanders over there said he knew nothing about it, and if he knew where Saddam was, they would not hesitate to get him.

3. Reminds me of the trick

I used to play on my little brother. When he had misplaced a toy, I'd pretend like knew where it was and tell him I'd guide him with "warmer" or "colder." Of course I had no idea where his toy was and took evil delight in watching his growing frustration as I'd randomly tell him, "You're getting warmer."

Where's Saddam? "We're getting warmer, warmer. Oohh. Really hot. We're on fire. D'oh, we're getting colder."

4. Propaganda. CNN was saying it yesterday, showing rifle-toting

troops skulking around somewhere near Tikrit, which they claim is where their intelligence says he is. It's pretty obvious to me that Saddam (the evil bastard!) stole Harry Potter's cloak of invisibility. We'll never find him now.

they were also closing in on Osama. Had him surrounded. Had it down to a 40 mile area as I recall. Made big headlines.
