MARVIN BUSH EMPLOYEE'S MYSTERIOUS DEATH ? Connections to 9/11?
MARVIN BUSH EMPLOYEE'S MYSTERIOUS DEATH ? Connections to 9/11?

Washington Post Sits on Story for a Week

by Wayne Madsen

October 10 , 2003, 1200 PDT, (FTW) -- WASHINGTON, At around 9 PM on
September 29, Fairfax County, Virginia police responded to a 911 call
describing an accident. However, they soon discovered they were not
dealing with a routine emergency but the mysterious death of an
employee of the 47-year old brother of President George W. Bush,
venture capitalist Marvin Bush. Sixty-two year old Bertha Champagne,
described as a long time "baby sitter" for Marvin and Margaret Bush's
two children, son Walker, 13, and daughter Marshall, 17, was found
crushed to death by her own vehicle in a driveway in front of the
Bush family home in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County.
Champagne reportedly lived at the Bush family home.

Champagne had left the residence to retrieve something from her car,
which police say had somehow been left in gear. According to the
police report, the car rolled forward and pinned the woman between it
and a small building next to the driveway (possibly a checkpoint
built by the Secret Service when Marvin's father, George H. W. Bush,
was president). The car crossed Edgehill Drive, a small street in
front of the Bush compound. The vehicle then crossed a busy two-lane
street, Fort Hunt Road, finally coming to rest in a wooded area
across the street that adjoins the prestigious Belle Haven Country
Club. No explanations have been offered as to why the vehicle did not
move until Champagne was in a position to be crushed.

snip....

According to two articles in the Progressive Populist written by
Margie Burns, from 1993 to 2000, Bush served on the board of
Securacom (since renamed Stratesec). The chairman of the board of
Stratesec is Wirt D. Walker III, a cousin of Marvin and George W.
Bush. Securacom had contracts to provide security for Dulles
International Airport (the airport from which American Airlines
Flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon, originated) and the World
Trade Center in New York. Securacom's backers include a number of
Kuwaitis through a company called KuwAm Corp (Kuwaiti-American
Corp.). Stratesec also has Saudi investors. Walker also serves as a
managing director of KuwAm, which maintains offices within the
Watergate complex along with Riggs Bank, on whose board Bush's uncle,
Jonathan Bush, sits. Saudi Princess Haifa al Faisal, the wife of
Saudi Ambassador to the US Prince Bandar, used a Riggs account to
funnel money to Omar al Bayoumi and Osama Basnan, two Saudi students
in California associated with two of the 911 hijackers.

3. When did FTW become a "pay" site??
Goddamnit I'm getting sick and fucking tired of having to pay to read the Internet. :grr: FTW, Salon, etc. And then even the major papers want your life story before you can read them....

Geezus, it's not like there's a whole lot of worthwhile media out there anymore. What little there is should be available to everyone.

9. The fact remains that Marvin had connections to WTC security & reinsurance
firms. This FACT is just one in so many that has been hidden from the public's eye.

Whether or not you believe Marvin's babysitter's death was just another accident or not, the fact remains that Marvin Bush was connected to security and reinsurance of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

6. I'm sure Kevin Bacon is connected to this somehow
Remember the 9-11 foreshadowing in Footlose.

And I think Marvin Bush played a security guard in Malcom X with Denzel Washington who co-starred in The Pelican Brief with Julia Roberts who was in Flatliners with KEVIN BACON.

7. This story is bizarre
I think it's premature to start speculating about "connections to 9/11" or any misbehavior by Marvin, but it does look like a suspicious death. I can't figure out what the heck was supposed to have happened! And it's weird that the story didn't come out for a week and a half too. Still, I think we need to hold off on pointing fingers until we have more information

16. Okay who here is ready to see if they can do this accident on purpose
This putting a car in gear and running in front of would be hard to do on purpose. Unless there was something really really wrong with the car it would seem impossible. (unless it was one them old Audi’s with the messed Auto-trans) Maybe on a hill or grade or something, but If it was in garage with a level floor and the car was somehow in gear doesn’t work for me.

I am a mechanic and have almost gotten ran over by others a couple times by accident. Even had a couple unocupied ones try to roll down hill but still caught up and stopped them. But never have I seen one put itself in gear and run over someone

This has to be the biggest B.S. un-thought out story I have heard yet

Any other mechanics (shade tree or back yard or otherwise) would this be believable if it did not have something to do with the BFEE

Were is the homicide investigator?

How can you die being pinned between a car and a wall, and then have the car continue to roll forward?

19. Check out this map of the streets involved - It doesn't jive
http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?ed=vJvbxOp_0TpSDRP0Ny4ugbJdcHXFP7k-&csz=Alexandria+VA&country=us

When the map comes up click on the 1 on the right side of the map for the next zoom level below street to view the crime scene. Then come back and explain it against the account given.

Edgehill Drive is PERPENDICULAR to another subdivision road (name?) which runs parallel to Fort Hunt Road(the bigger yellow rd on the map). What is between the unamed road and Fort Hunt Road? Houses? Ditches? Nothing?

She was PINNED between the car and an outbuilding? How did the car then continue on it's merry way? Wouldn't it have to BACK UP, TURN to avoid the builiding/person again, and THEN shift back into DRIVE?

2+2=4
bush* + laws of physics/motion = dead babysitter?

Edited on Wed Oct-15-03 03:13 PM by FoeOfBush
the very first house at the corner of edgehill drive and whatever, and the car was pointing toward the BHCC, AND the babysitter got out AND left the car running AND the car took off as soon as she was in between it and whatever outbuilding AND pinned her causing LIFETHREATENING injuries, then BACKED UP OR just plowed over the building and babysitter, MISSED the trees AND continued without being hit crossing the main road (Fort Hunt Rd)coming to a rest finally, all while the bush*s apparently did nothing(THIS part is believable) then yeah, I suppose the Magic Drive-Itself Car Theory holds.

Arlen Specter would be proud... At this point the car drives BACK AND TO THE LEFT....

11. Whatever the other issues, it remains this "babysitter" died under
mysterious circumstances.

The official story itself reads like a Press elease from Stalinist Russia:

"Mr. Trotsky was found dead yesterday after apparently committing suicide by stabbing himself in the brain with an icepick."

Whatever else you might think of variuous "conspiracy theories" the fact is that the "official" story of the rolling car makes little sense.

As Arnie said, "Wher deres smoke deres usually fire."

$50 that you won't see anything more about this, except " It was a tragic accident"

Move along...nothing to see here

It chills me that they can, and do, get away with murder.
The story sounds so bizarre, cars don't do what they describe.

22. 13 year olds usually ARE the babysitter
Edited on Wed Oct-15-03 02:21 PM by Must_B_Free
13 and 17 is a bit old for a sitter, no?

This story doesn't jive. More:

Wayne Madsen didn't forget the Babysitter story.

He wrote:

"...Some observers wondered if Secret Service agents might have been able to assist Champagne when her car pinned her. According to the Secret Service in Washington, the agency only provides protection to presidential siblings if an Executive Order authorizes such action. A Secret Service spokesperson emphasized there is no current Secret Service protection for Marvin Bush. However, there remains a question why private security agents posted at the Bush compound could not have responded to Champagne's distress.

There are also questions concerning Champagne's actual place of residence. According to the Post story, Bush told police that Champagne resided at their compound, However, a phone call to the directory-listed residence of Bertha Champagne in Franconia, Virginia resulted in Mrs. Champagne's son answering the phone. He confirmed that his mother lived at the Franconia address but he was clearly uncomfortable and nervous in talking to the media about the circumstances surrounding his mother's death...."

NOTE: Notice that these are two differing accounts.

The police report has her pinned by the car when she went to get something out of it

The WP report has her standing in front of the car when it went into motion.

Either way, I can't see a car going into motion from being at rest without some help. Slamming a door isn't enough because it was the second time; presumably, someone had closed he door when they parked the car there.

24. furthermore...
....a car rolling from a dead stop would have to gain some momentum before it hit the woman. She got her stuff out of the car and shut the door. One must assume she started to walk back to the house. If she stepped in front of the car to do so, she would know it was moving. Was she drunk? That's possible. But not indicated.

Here's another possibility. Maybe the cause of death was something else. Maybe she was dead when the car ran over her.

28. Where was Marvin Bush on 9/11?
What was he doing in the months previous to 9/11?

Has anybody interviewed Bertha Champagne's acquaintances? Had she mentioned anything about her job, problems, etc. Marvin Bush was going through a divorce while she was working there.

Did Marvin have a hand in John O'Neil's employment?

Did he know Jerry Hauer: the guy who helped O'Neil get the job at WTC and later identified his body?
