A lot of people supposedly liked him because he was a "straight talker" (advertised as some kind of anti-Clinton - God I miss Clinton). But those people who liked him for that supposed reason, I'm betting, are more and more put off by his ever-changing reasons for attacking Iraq.
He led everyone to believe saddam had WMDs, and that those were an imminent threat to the US. That simple - saddam has WMDs. He's not saying that anymore. He's parsing and giving out tens of reasons now. However you characterize what he's doing as far as trying to justify his bloody oil war, obviously desperately, it can't be called straight talk.
The question should continue to be - where are the WMDs (you sent our sons to die to protect us from)? There are none, and that must now be clear to even the most diehard bushbot.
Guess even sheeple don't like being lied to.
