Operation Chicken Hawk: Episode One might be the funniest shit I have ever read in my life.

I rode the bus to campus a bit ago and was nearly spraying coffee all over reading it. I swear Franken is such a smartass asshole that I thank my lucky stars we are on the same side. The George "Stoner" Will seeing visions of Ted Williams-Bertrand Russell-Postage Stamps was almost too much for me to handle.

Bush + pills + beer= Good times. Calling Ashcroft "Jesus Freak" was classic.

Did I mention I'm glad this guy is on our side?

one yokel called and accused franken himself of being a liar, since he sent the 'heroes of abstinance' letter to various people under false pretenses. it was funny all by itself. the guy clearly felt he had a 'gotcha' on franken.
al had to explain the difference between satire and lying one's ass off (my phrase) to further political/military causes.

ON EDIT: franken also went over the Wellstone smear again. it's painful to hear that but it makes me glad that they didn't get away with it.
