The economy is seeing gains from several months ago. But haven't you heard about all the lay offs? Have you noticed the price of oil is at $32.00 a barrel? These are indication that the economy will decline in four to six months time. Between Feb and Apr of 2004. There may be a recession or slowdown then. I also predict the deficit will grow next year to about $550 to $600 billion. Basically what I am saying is the economy will be in decline.
Bush can't spend anymore. He can't give anymore tax cuts. The Fed can't cut rates anymore. These are the reasons why the economy hasn't completely sputtered already. No where to go but down.
Second, Afghanistan will become a problem. Letting bin Laden get away was the biggest mistake made by Bush Administration. He's educated, he understands American politics and history. And he's disciplined. I expect a Tet Offensive type of attack in Afghanistan, not Iraq.
People will hear this and say "What the fuck?"
The problems in Iraq will continue to deteriorate. The Shi'a will continue to be divided and may declare their own independance and take all the oil with them.
The Iraqi's will begin attacking Turkish troops (they hate the Turks more than anyone). Turkey will use this as an excuse to either a) pull out, b) launch their own attacks against Iraq/Kurds. The Kurd's will rebel and hell will break loose there too.
Basically things won't get better and people are going to say that Bush is a fucking idiot.
