I saw the strangest thing tonight!!
I got behind a truck in traffic coming home. It was a big Dodge Ram. There was a W sticker in the window and a bumper sticker on the back that had a Marine emblem and said "All men are born equal but some become more equal".

But the odd thing was under the trailer hitch, there was what looked like a rubber bag containing two balls about the size of golf balls. It looked like testacles!

So this guy is driving around in a big ass truck with a W sticker on the window and testacles hanging from the trailer hitch! And you should have seen them bouncing around. :eyes:

WTF?

Is this why I just don't understand the W worshippers? I can't even imagine what kind of a twisted sense of humor a person has to have to hang testacles from the rear end of their truck.

Oh and as I am following this guy, I am listening to Sam Seder talking about torture at abu graib. Talk about a Twilight Zone experience. (cue music - dee dee dee dee)

3. Man, that is surreal.
These guys think they have big ones, but I bet it more like penis envy or compensation for having a little one. Only someone with an emotional problem would feel compelled to hang their balls from their truck. Totally different message if it had been a woman driving.

"Nothing shows that you got a pair of big balls like hanging some Bumper Nuts from your car bumper!"

Let's change that...

"Nothing shows that you're a complete jerk like hanging some Bumper Nuts from your car bumper!"

"Nothing shows that you're suffering from a sexual inferiority complex like hanging some Bumper Nuts from your car bumper!"

And of course, "Nothing shows that you're a clueless 'moran'like hanging some Bumper Nuts from your car bumper -- especially combined with a W-04 sticker!"

69. Well, there are other differences...
Breasts are indeed used for commercial gain, but I don't know anybody who lusts after balls. Maybe they do, but I've never heard of it.

In fact, I think the scrotum is the least attractive parts of any human body, and is hyped as a symbol of strength beyond all reason. (I love Stephen Colbert saying, "Do you have the BALLS? Well, DO YOU?")

Why men feel a need to celebrate and boast about this is beyond me. THAT is what I find hilarious.

What was attractive and what wasn't attractive.

However we do have a new question: Why is the scrotum hyped as a symbol of strength.

I suppose there are several reasons, well one main reason. I'm trying hard not to get this thread locked...

54. Ouch!!
hahaHA!!!

It reminds me of a truck I saw not long ago while driving with my daughter, here in Maryland -- it had rightwing bumperstickers all over it, even an anti-vegetarian slogan, and not one but two confederate flags waving (not to start another flamewar on that topic). Just over the TOP (I imagine it was a perfect candidate for bumpernutz).

We cracked up and decided we had to get along side that truck to see what this particular brand of jerk looked like. It was a young guy wearing a cowboy hat, hanging his elbow and head out the window, giving us a cocky smile that seemed to indicate he thought we were impressed. We shook our heads and couldn't stop laughing. He probably still thinks we were just giggling in admiration.

It's funny in a weird way, though. There was one on a truck at my old job, and I couldn't figure out if I thought it was funny or not. It is, but in a 'wtf?' kind of way. I thought it was really stupid that this person had this on his truck at a place of business (and I think he was the owner).

79. Think again
Fact is any kid too young to understand is strapped into the car seat in the back seat and isn't going to see those things unless you pass them in a parking lot while walking. Any kid old enough to see them from the front seat is going to know what they are and won't need to ask.

And if asked, you explain them by calling them "decorations", end of story.

This 'what do I tell the children' thing is way over-blown in this case.

57. My new car kinda looks like a Mini
If you're game, I could try it too.

But then again, I just looked at the website. Those things cost $15!! Sorry, not worth it.

45. Glad I'm not nuts ( no pun intended)
I've seen this in Arizona and San Diego and at first I thought I was seeing things. I asked my husband if those were suppose to be what I thought they were and he laughed at me and told me it was not what I thought it was. Both times they have been on huge jacked up trucks with huge tires and yes the W bumper stickers. They aren't even trying to hide their insecurities anymore they think that shit is cute.

70. I swear when I read this....
I thought you must live in Tallahassee because I saw the same exact thing today! This one was a emerald green Dodge Ram with a W sticker and green balls hanging from the trailer hitch. It literally took me about a mile to finally accept the fact that he actually had them on his truck.

71. No I live in Kansas City
which is actually fairly liberal. At least more so than the rest of Missouri and Kansas.

72. Since I think they're ridiculous
I called my husband in here. I said, "Honey, do you think these are funny?" (He did) "Do you want a pair?" (He didn't) But then he thought they would be a great gag gift for one or two overly "macho" friends...
Wouldn't spend the money on them though. They're not THAT funny..

GEO Metros are pretty low on the road.
