Poll question: Is it possible to have sex with someone else and still be raped by Kobe?
Edited on Thu Oct-16-03 06:38 PM by Cheswick

Some men (an some women even more shockingly) here clearly think kobe's accuser must be lying because she had the nerve to have sex with someone by choice in the few days leading up the alledged rape.

2. I couldn't care less.
If he did it, make him someone's cell bitch.

If he didn't, leave him alone.

In any case, get that crap outta my face.

12. Why do I want to hear about some lameass ball player's problems?
I've got my own and my day certainly doesn't revolve around some celebrity's personal problems.

Who frankly gives a rat's ass? Really?

Does anybody not get to eat their Wheaties in the morning because of this asshole's legal issues? Is anybody not directly associated with the trial have any say, influence, or sincere interest other than nosiness and the same rubberneck attitude that causes traffic delays when some guy's pulled over fixing a flat?

Fuck Kobe, fuck the bitch who says he raped her, and fuck the news coverage of it all. I'm sick of it.

6. "The men here..."

huh??

1) Very "nice" generalization from you. As a man, I feel offended by your generalization.

2) I haven't seen anyone here at DU saying she is lying because she had sex with someone else... in fact, the other thread about this topic is criticizing people who think that.

8. Nor have I
I have seen hysterical (and frighteningly reactionary) over-reaction to *lawful cross-examination* of prosecution witnesses over subjects the prosecution itself introduced.

7. The jury will say "NO"
As usual, when the defendant is able to afford to hire competent counsel, prosecutors suddenly don't seem as almighty seekers of justice, but rather, as the seekers of convictions and publicity they actually always are.
