Dean got a union endorsement today
Later Thursday, Dean got the endorsement of a 7,000-member local of the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees Union in Washington. Dean is building support for the nonbinding District of Columbia primary, scheduled for Jan. 13.

6. Has the AFL-CIO made an endorsement yet?
The last I heard, they postponed their endorsement, when everyone was expecting them to boost Gephardt, and the reason was that many members were backing Dean.

Any news on that yet?

7. last news I saw was Hoffa saying he expected Gep to get the 2/3 necessary
