Strange post at Clark Blog
I am a Clark supporter. Does anyone know what this is all about?
_____________________________________________________________________
An open letter to Coward Clark:

Clark must not care when Hitler rises from the grave and wraps a scarf around his head.

Clark must not care that the OIC is supposedly the "moderate" Islamic body, and THIS is the kind of racist drivel that Islam is really about.

All that is required for Evil to win, is for Good people to do nothing.

Today, George Bush said nothing about the statements by the Malaysian Prime Minister.

Today, Kofi Annan said nothing about the statements by the Malaysian Prime Minister -- but we all know he hates Jews.

Today, all 9 of the Democratic Presidential Candidates said nothing about the statements by the Malaysian Prime Minister.

Today, the entirety of Congress said nothing about the statements by the Malaysian Prime Minister.

All that is required for Evil to win, is for Good people to do nothing.

Today, Islam won, because Good people SAID NOTHING.

Clark, we in America are ashamed to be of your same species.

The OIC is supposedly a gathering of "Moderate" Islamic States.

The Malaysian Prime Minister is supposedly a voice of "Moderate" Islam.

If his statements -- roundly applauded by the ENTIRE CONFERENCE -- are an indication of what Islam is really about (and there can be no doubt that it's pretty much spot-on given the status of the OIC), then TO CLAIM THAT ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF PEACE IS A JOKE.

It's that simple. The majority of American Muslims are deluded into thinking that what they hear over here is what mainstream Islam is all about.

Forget it. It's not, you've been had.

The real problem is how mainstream that statement was. Today we saw the true face of Islam as the OIC and member-states applauded the return of the rhetoric of the Third Reich, wrapped up in a head scarf.

Today Islam won, because good people did not stand up and speak up against that statement.

And he made that statement well over half a day ago. MORE than enough time for Clark or any other politician in America to come forth.

1. Tearing Clark down
On every message board or thread that is at least moderately pro-Clark you have at least a few lunatics tearing him down. Either they are right-wing lunatics attacking him directly; or, as we see so often on DU, we have people on our side posting the ranting of right-wing lunatics and expecting us to be convinced.

Nothing angers people so much as a winner.

If I'm not mistaken, he posted something similar today on the Dean blog, but he didn't go into detail like he does here. He just posted a link.

5. Jeez
Why is it that everytime somebody, somewhere says something stupid there are people who get thrown into a tizzy if some politician does not denounce it? If politicians had to do this every time somebody said something stupid they would be responding to these remarks every day.

7. I stopped taking the thread seriously, right about....
where I read the word coward.

That is one thing that Wes Clark is not!

That really pisses me off. But I guess that what democracy is all about. People can say what they want....post it where they want.....and that's what Clark meant when said......

Dissent can only be good.:kick:

10. Super sensitive Semite who knows that Ghandi's methods
really could kick in that right-wing ant-hill in the ME. I try to boycott products and stores that sell them but deceptive labeling makes it tough, oranges are easiest.

The man(the PM) states what to him seems obvious and advocates peaceful and non-aggressive methods to thwart it. What's the problem, the "by proxy" part? The PM's mistake in my view is over-simplifying by using the term Jew. The Jewish people are as horrified as any by world events, the PM needs to be more specific.
