Supporters of Mayor Emily Reilly are incensed about a unannounced federal Food and Drug Administration inspection of her bakery last month, closely following on the heels of a burglary at her Mission Street business.

Some supporters say they’re worried the mayor is being harassed in light of her much-publicized stance in favor of a motion Sept. 9 to send a letter to the House Judiciary Committee, asking it to consider impeaching President George W. Bush for his handling of the war on Iraq.

The bakery was burglarized Sept. 13. Only a computer hard drive and the hard-drive backup were taken. The burglar gained access by removing the molding from a window and, according to Reilly, did not set off a motion detector. She said the security system has since been upgraded. The "old workhorse of a computer" contained accounting information.


Reilly said the FDA investigator was "very friendly, just doing his job, looking around. He asked if we used artificial food coloring. I said no. He asked if we transported anything across state lines. I said we mailed cookies every once in a while."

Nostradamus says the anti-christ is named MABUS. This was often taken as to be Saddam, but I say it is either a reference to barbara bush* (MA BUSh), or george MbA BUSh among others. Clearly the bush* family has the anti-christ in it somewhere!

As for this revenge attack, I am already planning a trip to Santa Cruz in support of her resolution, now I may extend it and visit the Mayor's office AND Bakery! If any DUers can make a trip, please do.

And she has an excellent bakery. I also have had friends who worked there, and they enjoyed working with her, she is a nice lady. This is no two-bit burglary, this was definitely done by the Bush government, and I am not a conspiracy theorist.

Tell me this, Why would some one break into a bakery in order to steal the bakers hard drive? Now tell me, Why would some one break into a Mayors privately owned business to steal their hard drive? A Mayor, one of few who has passed judgment on a dictatorship and demanded it's removal. Conspiracy? I think not.

I definitely think that there is a connection between what is going on in Chicago and this. And god only knows what else is being done to us. I fear that this may all eventually come to violence, I sure hope not, but that is what I fear.
