On the phone...she said , what she knows is this...they keep rotating troops all over, dont have a clue as to what they are doing, her son in the Marines was promised home, then they turned him around and sent him right back, my son might be sent over, the reserve units are being lied to, all of them on stop lock, getting mixed messages all the time, no one knows whats going on, its a big mess, the troops morale is so low there is no looking up...
I am not the only mother on Xanax evidently.
In other words, this administration is completely clusterf*cking our soldiers, our kids, lying thru their teeth and have no idea what they are doing, period.

The only thing I can think to do is write my Representatives. I wrote them a few weeks ago and all I have heard back is from Senator Snowe saying she "would look into it." We should all keep writing our Reps and request that they demand answers.

written letters from lawyers, done everything..all I can hope for is he does concieontious objecter status..
This is a clusterF8ck of monolithic proportions..they have NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING...No one is in charge, the whole thing is a mess.....no one knows what they are doing period..

3. I know somebody whose husband is there...

she said she cannot really talk about this but her opinion matches yours pretty closely. Apparently this person has had to send all kinds of protective gear and personal needs items to her husband in order for him to survive. In her words "the people in command don't know what they are doing."

First they lie to my son and tell him his discharge papers are ready..then they say they arent...now they say hes being sent for 3 months to some goddamned camp in Indiana for 3 months, then what lie is next? does he get sent to Iraq from there?? wtf is going on ///this is a nightmare...
his business he owns is TOAST now...he will lose it..he wont be able to marry, he might die , f*ck this ...Im so tired and angry...
Next thing I do....go to the press here and make a stink...
God dammit I wish he would have never signed up for the Guard..!!

Me thinks the military vote for Bush has evaporated, perhaps the only good thing to come out of all this. Of course, when re-enlistments come up, there will be mass defections. A draft by 04'? No, they'll wait till after the election.
