Another Republican/Freeper Head Exploder:
When they give you that same old argument

"When your start thinking like the rest of the country instead of your tiny little group . . . " (along those lines - remember, they always think that they speak for 99.99 percent of the US population)

Ask them something along the lines of:

"So, you believe that I should just shut up and go along with the proven majority?"

If they answer in the affirmative, then hit them with:

"Then get Bush out of Gore's house!"

Watch them sputter about the Electoral college they tried to remove in 1992 and 1996.

1. Is that true?
Watch them sputter about the Electoral college they tried to remove in 1992 and 1996

The Repugs tired to remove the electoral college? Never heard that before.

2. Congressional record online has numerous references
to people who wanted to abolish the Electoral College (1992/93 & 1996/97).

A lot of Repukes were crying about the EC landslides of Clinton/Gore not showing the true "plurality" of the vote, since Clinton never got 50 percent or more of the votes.

To be fair (don't know why), a number of Dems were calling for the elimination of the EC in Nov2000-Jan2001.

No actual legislation really seriously considered, but many times the Right has cried that Clinton was never really elected (by their own "true definition").

E.C. is your friend, now, since W lost by over half a million votes nationally, won by 1500 votes in Florida (debatable), and 1 vote in the SCOTUS.
