I was thinking about all those lucky people that have the chance to ask the candidates a question on National Television.

If you got that one in a million shot of asking the candidates a question what would it be?

Here is what I would ask:

"When one of you becomes President, will you promise America here and now that you will launch a full investigation into the crimes committed by the Bush Administration and make those responsible do the time that all other Americans would have serve committing the same crimes?"

If you want to accept another half-assed Dem candidate, look forward to another four years of Repug governance. That seems pretty clear to me.

Even winning wasn't enough to keep the Repugs out of the White House in 2000, with less than half of the elegible voters bothering to show up at the polls. And look what a stunning victory we were led to in 2002 by these same great thinkers.

Dennis Kucinich may have voted with the repugs over abortion, but then again he's a Catholic. He also voted for measures to make abortion unnecessary, like making contraception and sex education available. He's also the only Democratic candidate who stood up against the Patriot Act and the Iraq War Resolution, and led others in congress to follow his lead AWAY from war. He's the only Dem candidate who has a plan ready to get our troops out of Iraq now, and get the UN in.

Dennis Kucinich is the only candidate who has my vote unreservedly, and he's also waking a lot of folks up to what they once believed this country could be. Dean, Clark, Lieberman, and to a lesser extent Kerry and Edwards all offer reasons to me to stay home, which I would do if I weren't as concerned as I am with the direction this country is heading.

You must also remember that Kucinich was for the Flag burning amendment. Not very Democrat.

Let us also mention that he is for the removal of all Troops in Iraq. This would lead to a civil war and a massive blood bath in the country.

May I add that Kucinich doesn't stand a chance of winning in 2004.

If I could not ask individual questions, this is what I would ask of them all...

Do any of you support a plank in the "Democratic Party" platform embracing a constitutional amendment to abolish the electoral college?
If you do, what other such reforms would you support? If you don't, why not?

actually, i would ask them on issues such as abortion, gun control, environmental standards, confederate flag on state property, gay rights,drug legalization (especially marijuana) and some other things, when they consider them to be a states rights issue or a federal issue. why and when they consider things to be a state or federal matter, and what are the standards for whether it's a state or federal matter. a long question, but i think it helps to get an answer on more than one specific point from them. and gives us a wider knowledge of their political philosophy.
