Anyone see the NBC promos for the Pvt. Lynch movie?

Holy crap! I dont know where to begin. I was watching tv last night with my gf when the promo came on. I nearly tossed my cookies. I question the govt's description of her recovery, but I seriously cry foul when I see what NBC has cooked up. The propaganda value of this movie is well... im not one to back "All your anything and everything are belong to Bush" conspiracy theories, but I hardly see anything of value in promoting one soldier's injuries and rescue. Regardless of whether you are Pvt. Lynch of Sen. McCain. It shouldnt be something you profiteer from.

2. Poor girl from West Virginia joins service because of the lousy economy.

Then she gets shipped to Iraq because of a pack of lies by her Commander in Chief and his lackies. Suddenly she becomes a media darling because Rumsfeld didn't plan for enough troops for her well being or that of her fallen comrades.

If the facts are brought out and examined, it may be worth watching.

I suggest you listen/read the Democracy Now! transcript - it is an EXCELLENT show about propaganda re Jessica Lynch and what we are to expect in future "wars"..
