Might be a good idea for Clark. His recent poll figures are showing significantly more support from men than from women. Another recent poll shows significantly more support from women than from men for the Democratic candidate. Women could make the difference once again in 2004. PLEASE DON'T TAKE THEM FOR GRANTED! And there's a huge assault on choice going on by the Bush Administration and his holy roller cronies - and without even protection for a woman's health or life. Choice was a huge issue for women voting for Gore instead of Bush in 2000.
From Planned Parenthood:
Thanks to the hundreds of Planned Parenthood activists who recently called the presidential campaigns asking them to participate in our November 5 Women's Issues Forum. The response was, to quote one campaign office, "Impressive!" and we are pleased to announce that Senator John Edwards, Senator John Kerry and Ambassador Carol Moseley Braun have accepted our invitation. Senator Joe Lieberman and Reverend Al Sharpton have declined. Please continue to call the campaigns of the four other candidates (see below) and ask them to participate in the Planned Parenthood-sponsored Forum on Women's Issues in Manchester, NH, on November 5, 2003. Together, we can make this a success.
General Wesley Clark: 501-537-2004
Governor Howard Dean: 802-651-3200
Representative Dick Gephardt: 202-448-9300
