My best friend and her husband took termite and I out for dinner. I happened to see an old friend...it was nice seeing him and we talked about stuff n things. Then we started to chat about the Iraq mess. His nephew apparently just came back for two weeks. Told his uncle (my friend) that he had been in Iran. Mike said you mean Iraq. He was not mistaken and was adamant that he was in Iran.

I don't know if the young man was mistaken, but if this is true serious shit is coming down. Hope those that voted to let Bush* make neverending war are happy. But maybe we are ok! John Kerry fought to have the language taken out, which prevented a wider war. But I wonder if it will stop Bush*?

Time for another terror attack to fan the flames of war. Unfortunately We The people are going to pay the price.

He meant Iraq and said Iran. My stepdaughter insisted (before the war began) that her older sister's husband was already in Iraq, when he was actually in Kuwait. I highly doubt that any of our troops could get into Iran without the Iranians making a big stink of it.

On edit: I actually would be surprised if we did not have special ops guys in Iran trying to support opposition groups and gathering targeting data. Less than 20 years old lessens the probability.

Greater than 23 the nephew probably has enough experience of soldiering to not get caught in Iran which might be politically embaressing.
