Clark denies he is a closet puke, Dean gets a standing O from from Arabs
Fox news just now

"Clark in an embarrising situation, lost voice, said something nice about Bush." Is fox acknowledging Bush is an idiot too?

"Dean got the warmest reception from Arabs." Made it sound like a slur.

Hillary speaking at Iowa Dem party Jefferson-Jackson Dinner.

Newt comes on...

Newt: Reading Clark's first book tells you why he was fired. Clarks book is very interesting.

Clarks new book is "clearly the writing of a liberal Democrat."

6. Wha?! Wha?!
Rigged elections ring a bell...?
Biased media...?
Short attention spanned Americans...?

Wait and see what the repukes have lined up. There will be a media blitz the likes the US has never seen. Friggin Goebbels would be proud. And...if there is another "staged event" where the "fearless leader" can look even more "godly" you can bet your ass that they will do everything in their power to make this asshole shine.

8. So what are you going to do about it?
Are you campaigning with anyone? Are you doing anything? Or have you given up already?

9. I started off "supoorting" Dean...
until I found out who some of his other "supporters" were. No, I will not say anything further on the topic. It'll be an even worse flame-fest than it is already now.

Then, Clark came along, looked good on paper but then I realized that this guy appeared to be some sort of "plant" in order to disrupt the dem playing field. He's kinda strange IMHO.

All the others are bouncing off walls...they have the following but its not enough to grab the middle pack voters. Besides, the media is NOT giving them the time that they need to really make a difference.

At this point, I really don't know what to do. I sure as hell will vote for any dem that gets the nomination but I don't have much hope...sorry...

10. Now I get you.
It is tough, but you don't have to know who to support yet. There are a few things you can do. You are already doing #1. You are participating on DU. You can also check out the candidate blogs and the Democratic party blogs. This keeps you involved. You can also volunteer (or get a job) for the party. Also, spread the word with people you have contact with. Sign up at moveon.org for email. Those are a few things. There are plenty of others.

11. Hop aboard the clue bus!
Will wringing our hands and crying get us anywhere? Will declaring our loss before the election even begins result in anything positive? Um, no.

What will help? Well I'm here to tell ya:

Join your local Dems. New ideas and effort always appreciated.
Bring ideas and willingness to contribute either time & energy or money (or all of the above!).
Write your local paper as often as allowed. Get the truth out since the media won't do it.
Think postive!

These are but a few of the things you personally can do to make a difference. As the saying goes, "whether you say you can or you can't, you're probably right." ;-)

I have found DU to be a fabulous source for news which I do my best to get out to others. Recently I sent my local paper a suggestion that they look into a really good column on pre-war intelligence written by a conservative. I gave them this link:

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=34930

Guess what was on page 8B (the section where editorials and political commentary are found in our Sunday paper). Big as day, more than half the page dedicated to the article in its entirity with the headline that read: Plain and simple, Bush lied.

Mind you this is an R stronghold. Check out the article. It's great and it has been put in front of many Bush supporters in this region, possibly because I took the steps I did.

Get busy.

Julie
