I've been trying to trace down who is responsible for the Voteamerica web stuff on some state's Secretary of State web sites. According to information, it is done by NASS, National Association of Secretaries of State. Going to that site and tooling around in the sponsors area, brought up that one of the sponsores, Wirestone, LLC, are the creators of the Vote America Web site. But couldn't trace down anything there. So, I tried a Whois search. Depend on the extension what you get. Here are the results. Any way to back track this futher?
Here's the info we got when we looked for the various extensions:
.com and .org- National Community Foundation
.net- Network Solutions, Inc.
.info and .biz- CA Secretary of State. Washington's looks to be
linked to this. SO was able to inspect some of the code.
.us- Minnesota, somebody probably parked on it.
