Even Fox Sports isn't "fair and balanced!"
I was amazed at how obnoxious their coverage of the game last night was- they were too busy puttin up their logo to cover Florida's advance to scoring position!

Geez, what crap!

2. Devil's advocate
Edited on Mon Oct-20-03 02:40 PM by RobertSeattle
Fox's NFL Pregame show yesterday had a devestating parody of Rush Limbaugh at the "Trent Lott Therapy Clinic" (or something like that). It was very funny. The actor playing Rush had a huge pile of blue pills in front of him.

I personally don't see much bias in Fox Sports myself, but that's just my opinion.

9. I don't watch Faux News
But Faux sports isn't blatantly right wing. Neither are the shows on Faux network tv (ie. The Simpsons, which made fun of Faux News recently).

3. Hate to break it to you,
But most sports coverage in this country has a conservative bias, everything from football to the Olympics. Rush Limpballs was just the obvious tip of the iceberg. Of course this is all just to balance out that "liberal media".

5. I disagree
The Best Damn Sports show tore Rush a new one the day after he made those comments.

4. Fox Sports just sucks
no matter what its political persuasion may be. They ruin every sport they cover.

7. I recall the RedSox-Yanks series
Two of the three broadcasters were: Tim McCarver (Yankees Color guy during the regular season) and Bret Boone (Brother Aaron plays for Yankees). That, on top of the fact that they would rather make sure you see the full promo for "Skin" for the 10th time of the night then let you see Manny Ramirez hit a home run in game 5. The game came back from commericals in Boston and New York with a fan jumping up and down holding the home run ball. Needless to say we were left to guess what happened.

6. Tom Arnold...a big Dem
in a somewhat but not really related to Fox Sports post, Tom Arnold, who is from Iowa (and is on "Best Damn Sports Show period, on some Fox channel like FX,) is a big time Democrat. He has been kicking around the idea of running for Governor or Congress. I'd love to see him, or anyone for that matter, run against Chuck Grassley...

remember the Tim Robbins/ Budd Durham thing?

But, heck, you'd think if they have a contract, the damned thing would say that they'd actually have televise the game!
