There is a difference between Dems and Repubs
1. Republicans believe in a specific political philosophy.
2. Republicans elect politicians that share that belief.
3. Republicans have a goal and a plan to execute those beliefs.
4. Republicans are never bipartisan.

6. Democrats
1. Democrats support many different political philosophies, depending on which democrats you are speaking about. There is no uniformity of belief.

2. Democrats elect people for many reasons. Adherance to a central belief is not one of them.

3. Democrats don't pretend that there is any one plan that will solve things, at best there are efforts to improve situations. So Democrats have many different plans and goals, and we spend a lot of time debating the merits of each.

4. Democrats are almost always the ones to cross the isle and work with others.

5. also
Democrats tend to think that our government exists by and for the people and republicans seem convinced the government is a corrupt machinery they are god-comissioned to loot (for the betterment of all.... their cronies).

9. I think you need to read more than the funnies
in those seven newspapers you claim to read everyday. It would do wonders for your command of the English language to read it as it is meant to be written not to mention the ideas you would be exposed to.

Also I personally don't believe opposition parties are evil, although I believe the Republican party has been taken over by a lot of evil people who are nothing more than a bunch of criminals given a license to kill.

10. This is the difference between the view from within and from without.
I'm sure to Republicans, Democrats seem very uniform and lockstep. They even invented a term, "politically correct," to express that belief. There are many factions and many different points of view in the Republican Party just as in the Democratic. One difference at present is that Republican activists and -wingers are willing to predictably vote Republican in elections, whereas many Democratic activists and -wingers snarl rebellion and threaten to vote Green.

But that could be an obsolescent phenomenon. One reads about Republicans (and I know a few of these personally) who are so appalled by Bush's overreaching on tax policy and in Iraq that they are contemplating a breach in 2004. And I know some erstwhile Greens who are so similarly appalled by Bush that they are willing to set aside their moral superiority just this once and vote Democratic.

So maybe the little putz is a uniter and not a divider! Who knew? :+

13. Ain't No Difference!
The more and more it is exposed there seems to be no difference what so ever! The Dem's and the Pug's have morphed into one odious party. The only party of difference appears to be the Green Party! The best annolgy that I can state now to this claim is....
"People you know I have never wanted to be black, but there has been alot of times I wished that I wasn't white!"
Frank Zappa
