Rush being promoted by Clear Channel for dramatic reincarnation... |
|
The "MajaRushi" is about to come back stronger than ever because many dollars are dependent on him. Not to mention the political fortunes of the right wing of the Republican Party. They can ill afford to lose their main propagandist. In his absence, the channels that carry him are playing excerpts of Rush each day so the dittoheads will feel that Rush has never gone away. They are promoting his fall from grace as if it is some crowning achievement. "He's not going to blame society or someone else for his problems..." Overlooking the fact that he would still be lying about his drug addiction if he had not been caught. But the dittoheads are not known for their deductive abilities and are expected to do just as they are expected to do...

1. Oxycotin drug abusers are hapless victims. |

It's true. If you believe the Orlando Sentinel. They're having a major newspaper spread on how Bob Butterworth came close to banning the drug, but then he ran for the Senate and a quickie settlement agreement was hashed. Expect this story to turn into the big bad article about how a Democratic Attorney General lost a valuable opportunity. The thoughts that came to mind when I read the article was:
1) There were 49 other states. What other Attorney General looked into Oxycotin?
2) Why did Butterworth sell-out just because he was running for office? Or is Florida so Republican that he feared he would actually lose votes if he took on a pharmeceutical company?
