BBV - Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D) Just Spoke On C-Span |

on the floor of the House about HR2239. Someone needs to talk to her about paper trail vs. paper ballot; receipt vs ballot. She got it mostly right. She did say that she had asked computer professionals to look at the machines that were being look at for Ohio and none of them graded very high on security.
She also pointed out that states feel there is a big rush to buy machines and get compliant with HAVA but there is no money to support HAVA and there is plenty of time, according to her, for states to make the right decisions.

1. She is helping my campaign... |
|
...and we have had a long talk about this already. She has also been in touch with Bev Harris.
Marcy Kaptur is a wonderful woman....and she will make this issue known throughout the land.

DUers know this difference cold now. Many others still don't. It really is a pretty fine distinction.
