Rush's First Spin: To Keynote Churchill Dinner
Edited on Tue Oct-21-03 05:50 PM by MarkTwain
Rush Limbaugh to Keynote Churchill Dinner on November 21, Los Angeles, CA

The Claremont Institute is proud to give nationally syndicated talk-show host and political commentator Rush Limbaugh its Statesmanship Award at the annual Churchill Dinner in Los Angeles on Friday, November 21. Limbaugh will be the keynote speaker; fellow radio commentator Hugh Hewitt will serve as master of ceremonies. The dinner will be at the Westin Bonaventure, 404 S. Figueroa Street. Reception begins at 6:00, dinner at 7:00. Business attire.

Yes, Indeed. So that's how they're going to spin the bigot's return to civilian life after rehab, huh? Is there no limit to the wingnut capacity for hypocrisy and arrogance?

Question. Just how much of a contribution did the EIB network donate to "The Claremont Institute"?

Moreover, you TOO can ....

" Show your Support to Rush's Sponsors.

So many of you have asked to help Rush that we have created this special page for sending your thoughts to the companies that sponsor The Rush Limbaugh Show.

Please show your support by telling them what The Rush Limbaugh Show and the companies that sponsor it mean to you.
Thanks for your help! "

...My "support" was expressed. Bluntly. I invite others to do the same:

1. That's sneaky
I bet you they're going to screen the messages - that's why they set it up the way they did. This is a sneaky attempt to counter the TBTM campaign to protest to Limbo's sponsors.

5. Yep. So Right....I Just read at Bartcop....
" Subject: Pigboy advertisers and threats

Bart: Imagine my surprise this morning, when I got a phone call from some guy named Brad from the Rush Limbaugh Show. This morning when I came to work an hour early and was surfing to Bartcop as I am want to do. Via the link provided on your site, I sent an email with the following text.

"Do you really want a hypocritical drug addict pushing your product. You can do better than that" Rather tame, I'd say. Anyway, I was in our Tuesday editorial meeting, when I get a phone call from Brad clicklick from the Rush Limbaugh show. He basically threatened me with "I'm going to tell your employer that you are using the internet to send hateful email."

Me: Go right ahead. I'll put you on hold so you can talk to him right now. Amazingly, when my boss went to answer the call, Brad had hung up. We are small weekly, pro-union newspaper. My boss hates Rush more than I do.

ha ha

The point: They are filtering out the email being sent to sponsors. And threatening anyone who doesn't follow the partyline and dares to send one from work.

Steve G

I wish they'd call me... "

4. Why isnt Rush in jail like any other common criminal?
Thats the question I asked of his sponsors. He broke the law. In addition, he involved another person in his crime, literally turning his maid into a drug mule. How can you buy any products from a company sponsoring him? Rush & O'reilly were all over Darryl Strawbery, when he was dealing with both cancer & addiction. They were demanding the Yankees fire him. Rush should meet the same fate.

I have a feeling, no negative e-mails will reach his sponsors. I wish I had a list of their personal addys.
If anyone has a list, please put it up. Thank You.

7. I want Rush off Armed Forces Radio ~ So contact your representatives
This is really important. It is probably the only opportunity we will get to have a "legitimate" reason to get him off. Please contact your Representatives and Senators and Demand that they consider what it means to have a "Law Breaker" broadcasting to our young men and women in uniform.
