After many months of brainwashing 70% of the American people into believing that there was a relationship between Saddam and 9/11, President Bush has finally admitted there was never proof of such a link.

What was the reason for this lie?

The WH has repeatedly said that they don't see a link. Read Sunday's Doonesbury where the question is why do people believe this..are they too ignorant to read a newspaper?

Puh-leeze! This is Orwellian (or like arguing with a child who took a cookie out of the cookie jar after you told them not to and they reply, "You told me not to OPEN the cookie jar again! But the lid was off so I didn't do it!").

The Busheviks ALL repeatedly linked 9-11 and Saddam through innuendo. Plus, the White House NEVER "repeatedly said they don't see a link. That is a LIE. (though perhaps I'll just give you the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to ignorance) They only BEGAN actually explicitly stating it less than a month ago, and Cheney had his statement on Meet The Press AFTER they began where HE DID IT AGAIN, linking them through innuendo,

So, frisco, you in and of yourself have rewritten history due to Bushevik propaganda.

How does that feel? Just like you lived in Soviet Russia and you bought Brezhnev's lie (although, to be fair, the Commies were not as skillful in Orwellian style "plausible deniability lies") about 600% increases in toilet paper production.

If you are going to tell me that's not true (it is) you'd better show me a link prior to last month in which the Busheviks say this.

But you won't be able to find such a thing because it doesn't exist.
