Clark is a very fashionable candidate
I've seen some people complain about his affinity for pinstriped suits, but I think he dresses very well.

1. I must admit
I like his selection in clothing. Plus, who does his hair? He has a nice, old fashoined cut.

Apparently, he's still a fan of the crew cut.

4. Us military types
Like our hair short.

When you wear it that way for 15+ years, you get used to it.

12. Right
I had standard hippie hair right until I went into the service in 1974, but now I can't stand it when my hair touches my collar. I'm overdue for a cut right now.
John
And it isn't touching my collar -- yet.

13. I grew up wearing a GIANT afro;
got a buzz cut when I was 18, and my hair hasn't been longer than 1/4 inch since. Long hair would drive me crazy at this point.

24. Hey, I did too...
It was during the time of the "Silvers"....mine was bigger than all of theirs put together.....I had to squash it down to get through a door.

28. Let's hear it for the old school. I cheated...
I wore an afro wig and looked like Angela Davis. Wearing a "natural" for me was more work than wearing it straight.

31. Hey, ME TOO!
Funny isn't it....I fought my curly hair for years....Everytime the morning dew would hit it though.....the curls would creep back.

Then I realized, it was better left alone.

Now everyone asks if it's naturally that way.

Of course I wear it long anyway because it looks fly. But what a pain in the butt it is always flying in my eyes.

has this been happening more often since 9/11 as people look up (instead of forward) every time they hear a plane overhead?

I don't think I want to go that far. I'll just stay little, I can't imagine that. For just an inch? EEK. I'll just buy higher heels. :scared:

9. Agree
Although I wish he was taller. Kerry has it all over everybody in that department.

I will also admit that his head is too small for his frame, heh. No big shoulder pads, please! He has good hair though, and a wonderful smile, which goes a long way.

11. LOL
I once pointed out that he's got a relatively small head and got flamed pretty badly. I guess I should've expected that.

I agree about he should steer clear of wearing big shoulder pads.

17. Shoulder pads?
Nope...those are really his shoulders. He's built like a swimmer which is probably why we think his head looks smaller than it would. Check out his pictures in a speedo...everything looks just fine.

29. Dude has a tiny head. That's the smallest head I've
ever seen on a man. My son has a small head (he took after his father).. When he saw Clark with me in NYC, even he commented on Clark's tiny head. But his head is in proportion to his size overall. Unlike... dean.

19. Movie star looks and sharp dresser for sure.
He gets an A+ there. They should all take hints from Clark. Very distinguished looking. Someone should tell him not to hunch when he's reading though- it should be the work of a minute to raise the pulpit (or whatever you call it). He looks much more, extremely impressive when he stands straight.

22. Handsome, but the ties are horrible
I think that Clark is certainly a handsome man, but his ties are way too wide and boring. A more narrow tie would elongate his torso and make him appear taller.

If I were to rate the candidates' fashion sense, I'd go with Edwards in first. He wore a jewel toned stripped tie in the first debate that was gorgeous!

like his suits and his ties.....Red ties means power and Winner!

He has that "It"....that's all....

Plus he drives a mean sports car (an older model though, not to ostentatious)which will be good for the imfamous "Nascar Dad" vote

and Unlike the our current pResident who is scared of horses,

Wes Clark rides horses like Lawrence of Arabia!

26. But something's wrong with his shirts
I have seen him a few times with shirts that don't seem to fit right around the collar and a too wide tie. Looks like they are a bit too big for him with a fold visible around the upper tie area and the tie not properly snug at the neck. Also, bright white shirts make him look a bit "ashy" - should consider going pale ivory or very pale blue.

Minor quibbles for a sharp looking guy.

32. It's the shirts and ties
The ties tend to be just..bad. I'm sorry. I think he's a very handsome, and even better, telegenic guy, but the ties need to go. The shirt collars need work, too, but seems to me, start with the ties and see if the shirt collar sits better with a narrower tie. He's probably only had to pick out clothes, especially business clothes for a few short years. Considering that, he's doing pretty well. He's not funny looking and that's a plus already.

I think he and Dean on the same ticket will be a good fashion balance. Balance on a ticket is important yanno.
