Do LaRouche supporters post on DU?
LaRouche is a phsyco, but unfortunately he's a Democrat. Does he have any supporters on DU, or they prohibited from posting here, just like the Freepers.

1. I think Skinner mentioned that..
LaRouche supporters aren't welcome. I could be wrong. Dig up the GD archives from a few weeks ago....

2. I fake support of him when I feel Jokey
I remember a post during the Draft Wesley Clark mania phase, where I said that we would all be surprised when LaRouche eats the other Democratic candidates.

3. Some Certainly Have, Sir
They do not often last very long, being as a matter of practical fact cultic fascists. Some persons given to a conspiracist view of events occassionally cite his publications as "proof" for their wilder flights of fancy, and when called on it sometimes urge the need to "consider all views" in defense.

4. What's up with him, how does he get so many college supporters?
On the day of the recall, while driving close to Occidental College in LA (small private liberal arts college) the intersections were full of college students holding signs and urging no on the recall, no on Arnold. I was happy to see so many young dems getting involved until I was given a flier--they were LaRouchies. Color me puzzled why people are drawn to him, not some of the other more progressive candidates.

6. Several showed up at an anti-Cheney demonstration here..
I talked to one who seemed perfectly sane and pretty much was aware of the same basic issues we progressives are looking at, but it was kind of creepy 1) how he referred to "Mr. LaRouche" with cultish admiration and 2) how he was pretty intense about 'knowing'...as if the solution to the country's political problems can be found in cramming more facts into the mind of John Q Public.

A weird experience all in all.

8. I got in an argument...
with one of those guys one day...I must have got out of a really bad exam, or I was just annoyed by their heckling of that one debate...Basically I was half urging them to back a mainstream/ real democrat (basically any of the 9)...Plus, I was curious why they supported that wacko.

Well, they really are devoted. It's a bit weird, and they were right about Cheney being the lunatic that he is...but still,... LaRouche?

9. LaRouche is a crook, a fraud, and a joke!
The best Howard Dean quote: During a fox news democratic debate a Larouche idiot supporter stands up and yells "Where's LaRouche?!!"
Dean responds: "Probably in jail!"

LOL
