Tom Delay, ex-exterminator and now Republican House Whip drew the new lines in Texas with an eye towards getting rid of Doggett. District 10 was carefully drawn to insure Doggett's defeat.

So Doggett is now running for the seat for District 25.

3. District 25

runs from southeast Austin at it's northernmost point in a thin southerly line to the Mexican border, with the town of McAllen, Texas at it's southernmost point.
District 25 currently has no incumbent, but it appears Lloyd may be going head-to-head with Rep. Hinojosa.
