Howard Dean to get California teachers union endorsement?

Its a pretty short blurb so I'm not sure if I can post all of it since it hardly qualifies as an article. How accurate this source generally?

1. I don't know.

I'm a California teacher, and I've heard nothing about this. I work for one of the largest districts in CA; 26,000 + students. I will say that very few of my colleagues base their votes on CTA endorsements. We were having this discussion just this week.

2. Why would the teachers support a loser?

Isn't enough that they supported Gray Davis? Why support Dean-McGovern who could have coatails so bad that Boxer loses?

3. Florida teachers group endorsed McBride, but most loved Jeb.

They voted for him instead. They got Jeb all right. I remember how they acted, talking about the God-fearing Bush family. I had to keep my mouth shut or be harassed.

I will betcha they might be a little sorry now.

6. I was told

Georgia teachers went with Purdue but I hear they too are sorry now. I know at my state job a lot went with purdue but with no raise last year and none this year they are cursing that they did. Actually at my agency before I left they were doing pay cuts and downsizing and noone wanted to mention his name..
