The Anniversary of the Death of a Hero
Paul Wellstone was one of my heroes. He was a guy who I consistently looked up to for several years. I volunteered as much time as I could last year. In retospect, I wish I could've donated more.

When he died, I stared blankly at the TV for about six hours completely silent. I was in total shock. During that time, I can't tell you how many tears passed my face.

For a man who did so much, the least I can do is commemorate a thread to an absolutly amazing individual.

Feel free to share your thoughts or experiences with perhaps one of the greatest progressive Democrats in modern history.

1. I'm still crying~
He was my hero too. And I miss him so, so, so much. I've got the candle lit tonight that I lit during his memorial service and my heart feels broken.

With his daughter Marcia and his wife, Sheila, Senator-elect Paul Wellstone waved farewell from his bus on a chilly late December morning before heading for Washington, D.C., in 1990.

is still on the internet at: http://shows.implex.tv/wellstone/

I had almost forgotten about this date until I saw this posting. I'm going to try to find out how to save the entire Cerenmony on my HD.

3. He was one of my heros from the moment I heard him speak in 92.
The pain was so great in my heart last year it weighed on me like a ton of cold steel.
