I am going to be Fair and Balanced for the next 30 days
It is my goal to see, read and hear nothing but Fair and Balanced news in the next month for the purpose of finding out if I will in some ways become propagandized and swayed by mass media opinion.

I feel almost as though I am losing part of my mind after the past years of detesting this administration and everything they are doing. For a 30 day period, I am stopping the objections, mentally and emotionally, in order to relearn how to relax. This is a short term action, and it's not as though the world will tumble down without me fighting the good fight.

I plan to read only the major news sites. I plan to listen nightly to the nightly news on the networks. I will listen to right wing radio every time I'm in my car (which is frequently). I plan to not discuss politics with anyone at work or at home. I may even watch the entertainment shows on tv that I usually avoid as though they are viruses or deadly bacteria.
If there is a news item that is "anti-Bush*" I will turn away from it.

Wish me luck.

I'll report back in 30 days if the experiment is not a total failure (or is it success? I'm confused already).

1. Luck.
If you can hold out for more than three days without having to call Ralph on the big white telephone, I will personally go to your house and hand you my coveted "Iron Stomach Award." I won this award for 10 years of recounting the tale of my first presidential vote, cast for Ronald Reagan, without vomiting once.

2. You'll Still Be More Informed Than WhittleAss
Being a news junkie I'm channel hopping all the time...especially to Faux and hate radio. Best to know what they're up to since they've done a masterful job of framing us.

But why bother doing this? Gonna find out that the media kisses this regime's ass? We know that, now what to do about it.

3. I wish you the best of luck emerging yourself in toxic waste,
but we really don't want to visit you in the looney bin, so for your mental health sake, you best not exceed 24-48 hours of this poison.
