It was released about a month ago. Its 7 pages. I can't seem to find a copy of the report itself.
http://stacks.msnbc.com/news/972131.asp -- "Cheney’s financial ties to Halliburton Deferred compensation counts, report indicates" Here's how it works out. He was paid $147,579 in 2001 and $162,392 in 2002 and also hold 433,333 Halliburton stock options.
On Meet the Pres, September 14th, he said, "Since I left Halliburton to become George Bush's vice president, I've severed all my ties with the company, gotten rid of all of my financial interest. I have no financial interest in Halliburton of any kind and haven't had, now, for over three years."
I'm sure you were all already awary... but just in case... LIES! The report found that though these payments of his aren't illegal, they're unethical, "A continuing financial interest."
I'm doing research for a web project on Media Coverage of Halliburton as it relates to the rebuilding of Iraq. Any awesome suggestions?
