They're busy at the Pentagon this morning
So many helicopters have been flying low around here that my cats have 9/11 anxiety. One is meowing around me and the other is hiding in the closet. I wonder WTF is going on. I heard three earlier this morning but thought that was just AWOL coming back from Camp David or something. But these are flying so low they have to be landing at the Pentagon about a 1/2 mile away.

So what are they up to now I wonder? Up to no good as usual.

2. Probably a tactical resupply of shredder machines or shred oil
They're getting ready for the 9-11 subpoena all across the Executive.

Ollie North has likely been hired on to consult.

That whirring sound you'll be hearing at 2 am is the sound of 10,000 shredders working overtime.

5. They're airlifting the multi-ton Diebold shredders, all right...
... the Diebold "Fawn Hall Ultrashred" models perferred by Enron executives. I wonder if Halliburton has the contract for the replacement parts...

3. Maybe Rummy's pulling a Jack D Ripper
He's been throwing tantrums all week, what with Condi horning in on his turf, and the leaked memo.

7. The same thing happens in NYC occasionally
Some parts of the city quietly go on a much higher state of alert without any publicity. Where I work there often seems to be a correlation with international events, such as a largescale terror attack in Israel or the death of Saddam's sons. Sometimes the reasons for the mobilization aren't apparent.

Could it be possible that there's a connection between the attack on Wolfie and the activity at the Pentagon?

Thanks, by the way, for your interesting eyewitness report.

8. Heard a report that
there was a black "? commercial" helicopter low-circling a certain corporate HQ (Tuttle Mall area)in Dublin OH over-the-weekend (two slow passes round - ? training, ? photo-op, ? surveillence. The inquiry brought only a bit of chuckling (Must have been Spector or
J. Bond checking out a new ride?) from the powers that be within the building. Anybody else see it??

Now, WTF was that whirlybird up to? - ? a two-pass joyride!!!

9. maybe to do with this?
MADISON, N.J., Oct. 25 — The chairman of the federal commission investigating the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks says that the White House is continuing to withhold several highly classified intelligence documents from the panel and that he is prepared to subpoena the documents if they are not turned over within weeks
