They have to remain in Iraq. Remain in their unit. Have to take orders from their commanding officer. If Gomer were to spew off to you about how bad things are, do you think that he wouldn't suffer repercussions because he did that?

He's whining now about the partisan nature of the Senate Intelligence Committee's investigation into the pre-war intelligence, but when he had the opportunity - a little more than a week ago - he voted against an amendment to the 87B giveaway to establish an independent, non-partisan panel to investigate. Said that the SIC could do it all in a non-political way.

This was perhaps 9 days ago. He didn't know what was in his own committee's report, but he stood up and advised Senate Democrats to vote against the amendment. And NOW he complains that it's a partisan document?
