6. Two

(1) Can you speak Spanish well enough to use it in the campaign

and

(2) How are you going to be able to handle the amount of slime that the Right will throw at you.

(1) He can speak it, but it's too rusty for a conversation. and (2) He's been through far worse in Kosovo, and isn't worried about that. Most Americans don't pay attention to that.

Not sure I agreed with him on (2), but I think there's something to hiw answer.

Also, when he's on TV, it's different. he is FREAKED OUT at the direction this country in taking in foreign policy. He is not merely non-PNAC. He is VERY anti-PNAC. You should have seen him.

I was supposed to meet him at a S.F. event in Oct, but it was canceled and replaced with the S.C. NAACP "Wesley Clark Show".......

I'm not complaining, as that was more important.

Plus I did want to have him sign my book "Winning Modern Wars"....but I wanted to have reading it first, in case he asks if I have read it.

And am pissed at myself. Hopefully I'll get a sig for my dad later on, who, on the eve of his retirement has made his first political donation ever (to Clark, of course). I'll try to post a few photos online later on.

His voice was just fine from what I could tell. And I deeply suspect he's doing very well raising money.

And he looks exactly like he does on TV.
